Hi, there Jayco owners. Today, on your 2020 Jayco Redhawk, we're going to be taking a looking at and showing you how to replaced the rear sway bar with one from Roadmaster. And this is what our sway bar looks like when it's installed. This is going to be a direct replacement for your factory sway bar. You'll get a brand new bar, new bushings, caps, end links, as well as most of the hardware. You will be reusing the cap bolts here but for the rest of it, it's all gonna be new. more

And this is what our sway bar looks like when it's installed. It is a direct replacement for your factory sway bar, but it is gonna be a larger, more robust sway bar. In addition to getting a new sway bar in your kit you will also receive new bushings and they're also heavy duty upgraded bushings. So this can be a great kit if you've got some worn out bushings that you're looking to replace and that you're wanting to upgrade at the same time. more

So there's actually quite a few different options out there on the market to help improve the suspension and handling of your motorhome. However, the rear anti-sway bar, which we're going to be talking about now, is going to be the most worthwhile and beneficial improvement you can make. If you're going to be making more than one, I definitely recommend starting with the rear anti-sway bar. So what the rear sway bar basically does is it's going to provide a stronger link between the body of our motor home and the chassis.So now we're going to go ahead and take our speed bump course here with our factory sway bar here, to show you the difference it's going to make when we install the upgraded sway bars. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at Roadmaster's Front Anti-Sway Bar, here for our 2018 Jayco Greyhawk.The front sway bar is going to be an excellent addition to any motorhome. Basically, what it is going to do, in the shortest, simplest sense, is it's going to provide a more direct link between the chassis and the body. Some examples you might really see right away for improvements are when we're out on the open road, if we get passed by a large semi or we need to make some evasive maneuvers in our steering, we're not going to feel as much rocking from our coach back and forth and side to side. We're going to feel much more in control of our motorhome here, which is going to increase our confidence when we're out on the road.So now we're going to go ahead and take our speed bump course here with our factory sway bars here to show you the difference it's going to make when we install the upgraded sway bars. more

Hi there, Jayco owners. Today on your 2019 Jayco Redhawk, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's front anti-sway bar and this is what our new sway bar is going to look like when it's installed. It's obvious right away looking at it how much more robust the sway bar is than our factory original. But if you can't remember, here's the original that we removed from it and you can tell that there's way more steel on our new sway bar preventing our vehicle from rocking back and forth. The lighter steel of our factory one allowed much more twisting motion of the sway bar, which didn't prevent our vehicle from swaying as much as this one will. The extra thickness is going to keep the sway bar from flexing as much, which is going to keep our vehicles straight up and down more often than not. more

Hi there Jayco owners. Today in your 2019 Jayco Redhawk, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer.A replacement heavy duty steering stabilizer from Roadmaster is going to further assist your steering wheel in maintaining a straight track when going down the road. It does this using the gas-powered shock absorber with the spring located on it. The spring will not only compress, but it also will pull. So, if you turn your wheel in one direction, the spring compresses and it wants to uncompress back to its normal position. If you turn the wheel the opposite direction, you'll see that it would want to stretch our spring, and the spring again would want to pull it back to return to center.The dampener inside assists with the spring to perform this action very fluidly, so it doesn't seem like it's pulling back really fast. more

Speaker 1: Today, our 2017 Jayco Redhawk Motor Home, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar, part number RM-1139-147. Here at E-Trailer, we do see a lot of motor homes. And one thing people may not realize is, so we're going down the road, we have a giant wind screen here. It's gonna catch a lot of that wind. So when we're driving and that gust of wind comes, we're gonna feel it in the steering wheel, and we're gonna have to fight that to keep the wheels straight. Not only keep it straight, but whenever we do turn, it's gonna have a lot of sway and kind of lean into it before we even get to our turn. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jayco Redhawk Motorhome we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer, part number RM-RBK24-RSSC. So, here's what our steering stabilizer looks like once we have it installed. Now, this is going to help us keep our vehicle going straight centered because it's going to be constantly working regardless if we turn left or right to come right back to center.So, it works the same way that our factory damper did. It's going to have that shock inside, except this one is going to have a spring. So when we turn one way that spring will extend out and naturally want to come back. When we turn the other way it's going to compress and naturally want to expand back out, coming right back to center. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jayco Redhawk Motor Home, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar, part number RM-1139-176.So here's what our sway bar is gonna look like once we have it installed, and this is gonna be a lot bigger than the factory one and give us a lot more of a stable ride. Whenever we're driving down the road and we make a turn, you kind of feel that swaying feeling Well, this is gonna prevent that from happening as much. It's gonna have more of a rigid feel, so when we turn, it'll actually turn rather than start leaning first and then going to the turn.Our new sway bar is gonna use polyurethane bushings, which is gonna hold up really well against any kind of road grime or anything like that, but they're also gonna give us more of a solid mounting point. Opposed to the rummer ones that come from the factory, they kind of have more give to them and they're a little bit more mushy. These aren't gonna be so hard where it's gonna be an uncomfortable ride, but they are gonna give us that stiffness that we need.As far as mounting our sway bar, it's gonna use all the factory mounting locations and the factory mounting hardware, so we're not gonna have to drill or cut anything in order to get it in place.This is a custom designed sway bar, so it is designed specifically to fit our motor home. But not only that, they took into account that it's also gonna work with a lot of after market parts like we have here with our steering stabilizer.So, I got my new sway bar laying down on the floor right by my factory one. more
